Auckland is New Zealand's largest city in North Island, set between two harbours and magnificent coastal expanses, and it is called the “City of Sails.” It is the most populous city in New Zealand.  There are many beaches in Auckland's west coast, such as Karekara beach, Piha beach, Bethells beach, and each one has different views. 


Waitakere Ranges Regional Park

Waitakere Ranges Regional Park is a very special place in Auckland, and it only takes 40 minutes drive from city. It include more than 16,000 hectares of native rainforest and coastline. People can visit waterfalls and black-sand beaches here, and also it is the heaven of wild life. Recently, many tracks in the Waitakere Ranges have been closed in order to prevent the spread of kauri dieback disease.

It is very exciting to introduce this place. People who have watched the movie,  Lord of  the Rings and the Hobbit, know this place.
